Aaron James Freeman passed away on January 29, 2025. He was born on June 25, 1989 in Waterbury, CT. He leaves to cherish his memory parents Edward Anthony Freeman Sr., and Pamela Lynn Newsome, biological father Henry Lewis Key Sr., daughter Ame’liana, sons Aaron and Si’Von all of CT, sisters Xsonna B. Newsome of Waterbury, and Shante Key, brothers Edward Anthony Freeman Jr., Arkeel L. Newsome, Xavion A. Williams, Henry Key, Khalil Key all of Waterbury, CT, girlfriend Shamonda Housley. Two God children Jakeel Waver and Jah-Meir Waver. Maternal grandparents Elvira Rascoe, and Perry Lee Newsome paternal grandparents Mario Barboza both of Waterbury and Lubertha Key both of Waterbury. Also several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Aaron was a devoted father, a cherished family member, and a loyal friend. He found his greatest joy in spending time with his children, creating precious memories that will be treasured forever. His love for family extended beyond words, as he was always present with a warm smile, a listening ear, and an open heart.
Beyond his deep connection with his loved ones, Aaron had a true passion for music, often finding comfort and inspiration in his favorite songs. Music was a constant companion in his life. He was also an avid sports enthusiast, enjoying the thrill of the game, whether watching from the sidelines or engaging in friendly competition. His love for fashion was another reflection of his vibrant personality, as he took pride in his unique style and ability to express himself through what he wore.
Aaron’s presence brought warmth and joy to those around him. Though he is no longer with us, his love, laughter, and the memories he created will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
A celebration of Aaron‘s life will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at 11am at Zion Baptist Church. Viewing in Church from 10-11am. Burial to follow at New Pine Grove Cemetery, Waterbury, CT. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Colonial Funerals 270 West Main Street, Waterbury, CT and James R. Sanders, Funeral Director. Condolences may be expressed at Colonialfuneraals.com.
