CELEBRATING THE LIFE OF AARON SINCLAIR ROBINSON, JR

Aaron Sinclair Robinson Jr. entered eternal rest at 15 years old on April 15, 2025 at Yale New Haven Hospital. Aaron was born in New Haven, Connecticut on October 21, 2009, to Lauren Brown, Samantha Stanley and Aaron Robinson, Sr. Aaron was raised in New Haven and Meriden and attended New Haven Public Schools, which comprised of West Rock Author’s Academy, Beecher School, Common Ground and Pathways High School.
Aaron’s infectious smile lit up the world! Aaron had a deep and unwavering love for his family, extended family, friends and football! Aaron had a knack for pulling pranks and joking around, delighting in getting on the nerves of his loved ones, and always knowing precisely how to bring laughter and joy to their lives. Above all, Aaron was loved! Aaron was special! Aaron was silly! Aaron was funny! Aaron was sweet! Aaron was strong.
Aaron was kind! Aaron was a leader and he didn’t have a mean or spiteful bone in his body. Aaron would do anything for anyone, especially his family and friends. Aaron helped feed the homeless and he helped to distribute food at the food truck for those in need. Aaron was a King!
Aaron leaves to mourn his maternal grandparents Shannon and Kwame Nkrumah; paternal grandmother Gail Conner Robinson.Great grandparents Gonnie Brown (Mohamed Jahbateh), Thomas Brown (Mariam); great-great grandmother Garner Lee Croom; siblings Chants Stanley, Ayriel Archie, Carmello Moody, Jhene Gallimore, Nyeja Bember and Antonio Porto of New Haven, Connecticut; Javon “Jigga” Baker, Aaron’s godfather, who was a loving and supportive figure in his life. Aaron had a special relationship with his Aunt Queennzingah Nkrumah, they had a bond like no other and supported each other thru everything and he was her protector; his Cousin Madison Anthony Giovanni Brown; his nephew Trenton Walters and a host of additional aunts, uncles, and cousins from his Robinson, Beverley and Brown Families. He also leaves his special friend Z’riyah Spearman, his Meriden Raiders Family.
Aaron was predeceased by his grandfathers’ Floyd A Robinson, Sr. and Anthony Brown, Sr. his grandmothers, Monica Heyward, Marion Ellen Beverley and Lula Mae Woodson, and his uncles, Anthony Brown, Jr and James Bennerman.
Aaron’s funeral procession will leave Cathedral of Higher Praise Church of God of Prophecy, 155 Grand Avenue, New Haven, CT 06513 Family will receive friends immediately following the burial which will be held at: Evergreen Cemetery 769 Ella T Grasso Blvd, New Haven, 06519
A celebration’s of Aaron’s life will be held on May 2, 2025 at Cathedral of Higher Praise Church of God of Prophecy, 155 Grand Avenue, New Haven, CT 06513. Viewing will begin at 10:00am with a service to follow at 11:00am. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, 769 Ella T Grasso Blvd, New Haven, CT.
