Ada, the beloved matriarch of the family, passed away peacefully on 4/15/2026, surrounded by the love of the family she spent her entire life building. Born in the vibrant heart of Puerto Rico, Ada eventually moved to the United States, bringing with her a spirit of resilience and a heart big enough to shelter generations.
Ada’s life was defined by her role as a nurturer. As a dedicated housewife, she turned a house into a sanctuary of warmth and safety. She poured her soul into raising her three children: Flor Cesario, Iliana Cesario, and Tony Cesario. Her capacity for love knew no bounds, as she also raised her grandson, José Nunez, as one of her own.
For Ada, "family" wasn't just a word—it was her life’s work. She was the steady hand and the gentle voice that guided 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Whether she was rocking a newborn to sleep or preparing a meal, her presence was a constant reminder of what it meant to be truly cared for.
Ada was the "Grandma" everyone turned to. She was famously loving and caring, possessing a rare kindness that made everyone feel like they were her favorite. Her legacy isn't found in titles or trophies, but in the laughter of her great-grandchildren and the strength she instilled in her children. She taught her family that the greatest thing you can do with your life is to show up for the people you love.
She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in every family gathering, every shared story, and the enduring bond of the family she adored.
We would like to give the thanks to Compassus for proving great care to Ada in her last moments.
