Albert Bowman

Albert Bowman, Jr. was born on August 5, 1954 to Albert Bowman, Sr. and Lillian Allston. Albert grew up in the Newhallville neighborhood of New Haven, CT. He's a graduate of James Hill House High School. After graduation Albert went on to serve in the U.S. Air Force for three years. After leaving the service, he worked for the Connecticut Department of Corrections until his early retirement. Albert was a very hard worker and dedicated to his family, friends and community. Albert will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends.

Albert is preceded in death by his parents, Albert Bowman Sr. and Lillian Allston; and sons, Eric Frank Dickerson and Albert “Sheron” Dickerson. He is survived by wife Deborah Ann Dickerson of New Haven, CT;  Brother Dorman Bowman of New Haven, CT,; sister Cassandra Bowman-Chestnut of Columbia, SC; children Albert Kareem Jibron Bowman, Sr. and Albert Justice Dickerson; grandchildren Candace Edwards Dickerson, Shattera M.E. Taylor, Jessica Monyae Dickerson, Kimara R.M. Bowman, Albert K.J. Bowman, Jr., Alivia C.N. Bowman, Justice Asher Dickerson and Ashlynn Grace Rodas-Dickerson; great- grandchildren Jefferey Keith Thompson Jr., Mariah Weeks and A’leah M.A. Parker
