Alfred Norman

Alfred Norman, aged 68 of New Haven, Ct passed away the night of Wednesday, September 25, 2019 of natural causes. Big Al was born in Kingstree, SC on May 20th, 1951. He was welcomed at Heaven’s Gate by his son Saul Brown whom made his way into God’s Light September 25th 2018. He leaves his wife of 33 years Pearline Brown and he lives on through his children and Grandchildren: Jacqueline Norman & her daughter Zarianna Norman; Michael Brown; Brad Brown & his daughter Kiara Brown, his sons Malachi Brown & August Brown; and Saul’s son Romeo Brown , his daughters Rikko Brown & Journey Brown. Al was a gentle giant with a love for football and a loyal Dallas Cowboy fan. Daddy was the rock of his family, put others first and sacrificed for the ones he loved. Pop Pop was a loving soul and a blessing in our lives, he is loved and will be greatly missed. Rest in Peace, Al/Daddy/ Pop Pop.

A celebration of Alfred’s life will be held on Friday October 4, 2019 in Colonial, 86 Circular Avenue, Hamden at 11am. Viewing from 10-11am at Colonial. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed at colonialfunerals.com
