Andrew Cox

Andrew Cox of New Haven, CT passed away on October 10, 2023. He was born November 25, 1938 in Meigs, Georgia. Son of the late Mitch Cox and Mary Cox, Andrew leaves to cherish his memories his brother Mitchell Cox, Sisters Shirley Hampton, Anna B. Jester and Rose Allen. His partner, Janice, his children Annette, Sheila, Rita, Linda, Karen, Kimberly, Dyemond, Sonjae, Andrew Jr., Gino, Eric, Nydrew, and Kenneth. Andrew was a laid-back man who enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. He had a gift for roadwork and was the owner of a paving business for a short period of time. Andrew loved to go fishing, going to the casino, playing numbers and hanging out with family and friends. He enjoyed meeting up with his two buddies at McDonalds on Dixwell Ave. every morning to have a coffee and sausage biscuit. Andrew was preceded in death by six siblings: George Travis, George Cox, Annie Lovett, Joseph Cox, Jimmy Cox, and Richard Cox.
