Andrew G. Levels, 71, of Connecticut, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2026, at Connecticut Hospice. 

Born on February 22, 1955, in New Haven, Connecticut, Andrew proudly served in the Air Force, demonstrating his commitment to his country. He was a cherished father to his daughters Keysha Levels, Menda Mobley, and Brianna Levels, and his son, Andrew Levels. Known as everyone's favorite grandpa, he adored his four grandchildren, Jazmine, Latrell, Shanyla, and Aaliyah Sheppard, and took great joy in his role as a great-grandfather to Taylor Stewart. 

Andrew is survived by his four sisters: Cheryl Marie Levels and Fern Levels of New Haven, and Laurel and Colleen Coleman of New York, along with his brother, Paul Levels of New Haven. He was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Rev. William H. Mitchell and Agnes Williamson, as well as his father, Robert W. Levels Sr., mother, Rita Levels, and stepmother, Dorothy Siva-Coleman. He also mourned the loss of his sister, Sharon Watson, and brothers Claude B. Coleman, Lewis Levels, Douglas Levels, and Robert W. Levels Jr. 

Known for his generosity and unwavering support, Andrew loved helping people and was deeply involved in his community. He always went the extra mile for those in need, earning the love and respect of everyone who knew him. The neighborhood will miss him dearly, as his warmth and kindness touched the lives of many.

A celebration of Andrew’s life will be held on Saturday March 28, 2026 at 11am at Colonial Funerals, 86 Circular Avenue, Hamden, CT. Viewing in Colonial from 10am-11am. Condolences may be expressed at Colonialfunerals.com.
