Anthony Thomas Brown, 57, of New Haven departed this life on May 21, 2024 and entered into eternal rest and peace. He was born on September 15, 1966 to Thomas and Gonnie Mae Brown. Anthony grew up in Hamden where he attended and graduated from Alice Peck Elementary School, then Sleeping Giant Middle School, and lastly Hamden High School.
Anthony leaves behind to cherish his memory, his parents Thomas (Miriam) Brown and Gonnie Mae Brown (Mohamed Jahbateh), and grandmother, Garner L, Croom. His children Lauren, India, Alyssa, and Toni, stepchildren Rockeim & Sameria Dukes, and his siblings Laura Lawrence, Mon Vera (Dave) Doram, Thomara and Tommy Brown. He was predeceased by his eldest son, Anthony Brown Jr., stepson, James Shelton IV, and godson Andre Jones. He also leaves behind his love Nicole Novembre, 8 grandchildren, and a host of family and friends who love him dearly.
A celebration of Anthony’s life will be held on Thursday May 30, 2024 at 11am at Colonial Funerals, 86 Circular Avenue Hamden, CT. Viewing in Colonial from 10-11am. Burial to follow at Beaverdale Memorial Park. Condolences may be expressed at Colonialfunerals.com.
