Anthony Derosha Cox Sr. was born August 15, 1968 to Donald Cox and the late Deborah colmen Cox of West Haven , CT in here Anthony attended the New Haven school district . New Haven being a place Anthony called home in the year of 2018 Anthony found his best friend & his wife Tanya Neil-Cox of Newburgh ,New York , they married 02/22/2020 She came in to became a big part of his life helping him became the best man he desired to be . Anthony was a high spirited person he enjoyed things such as traveling , family activities , and being a jokester but his most favorite was his drone and games on his phone. Anthony was also willing to help anyone from car issues to home repairs , he will definitely be missed by all He was employed at Travel America where he was a dedicated and hard working employee .
Anthony accepted Christ at an young age where he attendant Morning star free will Baptist church of New Haven , CT. In 2018 he than became a member of Breakthrough church of Hamden CT, where he again gave his life to Christ
He leaves to behind to cherish his memories, His wife Tanya Neil-Cox , Father Donald Cox of New Bern ,N.C , His sons , Anthony Jr (Waterbury) Jesiah Glenn & Shakur Melvin (Ct) Jamarious Neil ( Missouri) Daughters : Jaquee Porter ( Waterbury) Nydaisha & Aizhane Glenn & Taryn , Taquoia & Tunaya Neil , 3 sisters Belvia Green (Texas ) Samantha Cox ( North Carolina ). Tayler Cox Butler (Connecticut) , 19 grandchildren and an abundance of Aunts , uncles and cousins he loved .
Anthony was preceded in death by his mother : Deborah Coleman Cox Grandparents :Wayne & Annie Cox David & Parthina Coleman L.C . Carr & Hazel Barrett & Several Aunts & Uncles
A celebration of Anthony’s life will be held on Friday February 3, 2023 at Agape Christian Center, 99-100 Goffe Street New Haven, CT at 11am. Viewing Church from 10-11am. Condolences may be expressed at Colonialfunerals.com.
