Anthony Maurice Trimble

Anthony Maurice Trimble, affectionately known as "Master Reese" and "UGN2," peacefully departed this life on July 31, 2026, in his hometown of New Haven, Connecticut. Born on December 30, 1967 to the late Lula Mae Young and Paul Trimble, Reese was a lifelong New Haven resident whose creativity, vision, and love for his community left an enduring impact on countless lives. Reese attended Wilbur Cross High School, where he began cultivating the passion for creativity and storytelling that would later define his legacy.

A gifted visionary, Reese was widely recognized as a pioneer in New Haven's media and hip-hop community. During the 1990s, he became one of the first individuals in the city to produce and host a television program, alongside his close friend Justice, Underground News, which aired on CTV Channel 27. His work helped pave the way for future generations of content creators and media professionals throughout the Greater New Haven area. Many remember him as a true trailblazer whose passion for music and mixing & mastering inspired others to dream bigger and create fearlessly.

Beyond his accomplishments, Reese will be remembered as a supportive father, a loving family member, a loyal friend, a mentor, and a source of strength to those who knew him. Reese’s greatest joy was his family. He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved children, Anthony Maurice Reyes and Asiah Lilree Trimble; his siblings: Edward Roosevelt Trimble (Tané) and Paulette Trimble; his nieces and nephews: Toddchelle Young, Bria Harvin, Robert Young (Ina), Brandon Smith, Ryan Carter, Shea Smith, Brandon Trimble, Koran Trimble, Jonathan Young, and Clarence Fuller III; his aunt, Jeannette Young, along with a host of great nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family members, dear friends, and all whose lives were touched by his kindness and creativity.

He was preceded in death by his beloved older sisters, Sandra Jean Oates and Deborah Elaine Young, uncles and aunts, cousins, and friends.
