Anton Dion Simms

Anton Dion Simms, born on February 5, 1971 in Waterbury Connecticut to Lenwood and the late Julia (Johnson) Simms. Anton is survived by his father Lenwood Simms of Wilson North Carolina Daughter Juanita Simms of Wilson North Carolina. Son Levon Simms of Wilson, North Carolina. Daughter Aryonna (Simms) Harris of Waterbury Connecticut, Son Anthony(Simms) Harris of Waterbury Connecticut. Sister’s AmberTracy) Nichols, Phyllis(Dave)Smith of Waterbury, Connecticut. Mandi(Rondu) Harper of Naugatuck, Connecticut, Elizabeth Simms of Wilson North Carolina. Grand daughters Journey Simms and Milani Simms of Wilson North Carolina. He also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews. Anton is predeceased by his Mother Julia Simms and Daughter Unique Simms. He was educated in the Waterbury school system, graduated from Crosby High School and attended Waterbury State Technical CollegeCT State). Anton worked in his passion of drafting as a draftsman in the roofing Industry. He enjoyed the outdoors with the hobbies of Mining as he would sift for gold, Fishing and Astronomy.

A celebration of Anton’s life will be held on Saturday September 20, 2025 from 10am-11:30am at Colonial Funerals, 270 West Main Street, Waterbury, CT. Condolences may be expressed at Colonialfunerals.com.
