April Denise Brewer

April Denise Brewer earned her wings on Tuesday, February 8, 2022. She transitioned from earth to rest at Yale New Haven Hospital with her nephew Leamon Richardson by her bed-side.

April Denise Brewer hails from the Bronx but spend her latter time in the New Haven, CT area.  She was born April 1, 1967 in Brooklyn New York to the late Ruth Brewer and James Brewer, Sr. She attended the NYC Public Schools and had a love for cooking and listening to music. April’s love was still known even through her own battles; She was a blessing to be around. April will truly be missed.

April leaves to mourn her nine (9) children: Montrice Brewer & Charlie Wright of Bronx, NY, Isaiah Brewer of El Paso, TX, Tyrese Brewer & Austin White of Bronx, NY, Erika & Eric White her twins of Florida, Marietta White of Brooklyn, NY & Caydanee White-Deadwyler of CT.

Her five (5) Grand Children: Nala Wright, Kalyn Wright, Cashmir Brewer, Adonis Brewer & Zihearra Brewer of Bronx, NY.

Her Siblings: James Brewer, Jr. & her Sister in-law Toren Brewer of Brooklyn, NY, Juanita Brewer of PA, Cynthia Brewer-Dyer & Brother-in-law Clive Dyer, Brenda Brewer Campbell & Brother-in-law Devon Campbell, Anthony Brewer of Bronx, NY, Apostle/Rev. Kim R. Brewer of White Plains, NY & Natasha Brewer of Upstate, NY. Also, her step-father, Demerlyn Isaac of Bronx, NY and a host of loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews as well as family and friends.

April Denise Brewer was preceded in death by her parents Ruth Brewer and James Brewer, Sr. and her oldest sister Patricia Brewer. She fought a hard battle; Now no more suffering.  Take your Rest, April!!

The family would like to thank Yale New Haven Hospital – Unit 5-2 for all the love, care and support you gave during these four months of her battling.  Thanks for loving on her and making her feel like a part of the ‘5-2 unit’ as family.  Special thanks to “Lakeysha” for overseeing her health needs. Earth has no sorrow that heaven can’t heal.
