Barbara A. Paige, born March 16, 1947, entered into eternal rest surrounded by her loved ones.
She is survived by her daughter Michele, son Mike, honorary daugher Berta (Twinkie), son-in-law Anthony, granddaughters Asia and Ashley, great granddaughters Heaven, Genesis, Micaela and soon to be Amor.
Barbara is also survived by many nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.
She is predeceased by her parents James and Dorothea Moody, brother Eric and husband Elmer (Bill) Paige.
Barbara was employed at Blue Cross Blue Shield for 27 1/2 years as a Support Team I Specialist. She was also a member of Holy Ghost Tabernacle where she served as an usher, minister and eldress. On a regular day, you would find her writing poetry or singing church hymns as she worked around the house or reciting her favorite psalms 150. She was a kind, yet reserved woman that loved to be involved whether it was a church event or you just needed a shoulder to lean on. She was there for it all. She was a woman touched by God and we will all greatly miss her.
A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held on Friday November 12, 2021 at 11am at Colonial Funerals, 86 Circular Avenue, Hamden. Viewing in Colonial from 10-11. Condolencesmay be expressed at Colonialfunerals.com.
