Beatrice R. Grant

Beatrice R. Grant, age 87, of New Haven, entered into eternal life on Saturday September 15, 2018 at YNHH. Born on February 26, 1931, in St. Mary, Jamaica, daughter of the late Louis and Maryann (Barker) Roberts. Cherished mother of Valarie (Michael) Grant-Hamilton of Hamden, Annie Grant-Bennett of FL., Jennifer (Dave) Grant-Fowlin of New Haven, Calene Grant-Young of FL., Karl Grant of FL., and Vanessa McHayle of Hamden. Also survived by 29 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and one sister Claire Hill of London. She was predeceased by three daughters Fay Hauptmann, Carol Grant, Celia Grant, and one son Earl “Anthony” McHayle. A Celebration of Beatrice’s life will be held on Friday September 28, 2018 at Church On the Rock, 95 Hamilton Street, New Haven at 11am. Viewing in Church from 9-11am.
