Bernadette Lasandra “Berinetta” Herbert

Bernadette Herbert passed away on April 23, 2022. She was born in St. Stephen, South Carolina on July 19, 1948 to Ned Addison and Lilas Scott. She is survived by her children Veronica Gaston, Cassandra (Leo) Herbert- Wilson  and Richard Herbert. She leaves to cherish her memory sisters Deacon Margie (William) Wright, Shirley (Alfred) Wilson, Roberta (Billy) Penn all of Waterbury.  Seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and her long time friend Abolene Williams. She is predeceased by brother Izander Addison. She loved cooking, music, her family especially her children and grandchildren. She love watching Court TV especially Judge Judy. Family time was most important to her. She was a former member of Grace Baptist Church.

A celebration of Bernadette’s life will be held on Thursday April 28, 2022 at 11am at Zion Baptist Church. Viewing in Church from 10-11am. Interment to follow at New Pine Grove Cemetery. James R.
