Beverly, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at the age of 81. Born in Stratford, CT. Beverly dedicated her life to her family, her community, and the pursuit of helping others.
As a paralegal, Beverly’s career was marked by compassion and dedication. She worked tirelessly alongside lawyers, assisting countless individuals in navigating legal complexities, offering guidance, and bringing solace to those in need. Her commitment to service left an indelible mark on the lives she touched.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Beverly was a pillar of her community. As a leader of the DMAIO Gardens Club, she organized charity events and social gatherings, fostering a sense of unity and camaraderie among her neighbors. Her passion for giving back and her boundless generosity enriched the lives of many.
Beverly found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as knitting, crocheting, and exploring her Irish heritage. She had a flair for fashion and delighted in shopping excursions. However, her greatest source of happiness was found in the company of her family. With four children, eleven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, Beverly’s love knew no bounds.
Despite facing adversity, Beverly remained steadfast and resolute. Her strength and courage were unwavering as she fought valiantly for months. Though she has left this world, her spirit lives on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A celebration of Beverly’s life will be held on Saturday, June 1 at Wildemere Beach Congregational Church, 133 Broadway, Milford Ct. Calling hours are 2-4 p.m. with a short service at 3:30 p.m. We ask anyone who would like to attend to please dress in your sparkliest attire. Anyone who knew Beverly knows that sequins, sparkle and glitter were always part of her outfit.
