Blanca Cordero

Blanca Cordero passed away on March 11, 2022 at her home. She was born on January 20, 1934 to the late Blas Gonzalez and Genoveva Ramos Gonzalez in Utuado, Puerto Rico. She was predeceased by her husband Jose R. Cordero. She was the cherished mother of Daisy Hernandez (Christopher Jahn) of Waterbury, Maritza(Marc), Patry of Naugatuck, Nancy (Hector) Ayala of Puerto Rico, and Jose R. (Joanna) Cordero of Florida. Cherished sisters Luz Rivera, of Florida, Gloria Gonzalez of Puerto Rico, Elba Torres of Seymour CT, and brother Miguel Gonzalez of Puerto Rico. She is predeceased by two sisters and one brother. She has ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

Viewing will be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at Colonial Funerals, 270 West Main Street, Waterbury from 5-8pm. Funeral service is Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at 10am at Basilica of the Immaculate Conception Church, Waterbury. Burial will be private. Condolences may be expressed at Colonialfunerals.com
