Brandon Armando Truesdale was born January 29, 1986, in Charlotte, N orth C arolina to his parents Zena Truesdale and Marc Valeriano . H e departed this life suddenly on December 28, 2021 , at his home in Waterbury , Connecticut .

Brandon , although a native of Charlotte , was raised in Waterbury by his paternal great-grandparents, District Elder Glenn Dansby and the late Evangelist Jane Dansby, with whom his parents placed him at six months old.

He matriculated through the Waterbury Public School s s ystem, graduating from Crosby High School in 2004 . Brandon w orked many years for Pilgrim Furniture but found his niche at the Next Street Driving School.  He wa s the location owner for the Southbury site and the Squad Leader for the Middlebury site. Brandon was lauded as a dedicated, loyal and conscientious employee .  He was recognized as a model employee, citizen and friend . Brandon was praised by those in his community as a kind and very well-mannered individua l; t hey refer red to him as “One of the Good Guys…”

Being reared by his great-grand parents, he attended the church they established, Gospel Light Apostolic Church, in Danbury, CT for many years. Under their guidance , he was well versed in the bible and lived a respectable lifestyle .

Brandon leaves to remember and celebrate his life; his m other Zena (David) Dail ; his father Marc Valeriano ; and his sister, Camden Rosner ; his paternal grandmother, Armonda Valeriano ; his great-grand fathers , District Elder Glenn Dansb y Sr. and Armando Valeriano ; his uncle s , Brett Wilkes and Glenn (Dawnette) Dansby ; his aunt s , Yvette (Harold) Haughton and Cheryl (Michael) Shepard. He shared a special bond with his cousins , Nia and B r ittney Wilkes and Mark Spellman Jr. He was the uncle to Cameron and Trevon and his niece, Londyn. He shared a n enduring friendship with Stephen Praleikas and Cihan Borluca , who were like brothers to him . He will also be missed by many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Brandon was predeceased by his blessed Grammy, Evangelist Jane Dansby and his maternal grandmother, Carrie Truesdale.

The celebration of Brandon’s life will take place, Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Colonial Funerals, 86 Circular Ave, Hamden, CT.  The viewing will be 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.  The service will immediately follow at 4:00 p.m. Masks are required, as well as social distancing.
