Brother Scott Thayer Badger of Hamden, CT departed this life on Sunday September 20, 2020. He was born on September 6, 1962 in New Haven CT. He is the only son of Marylin Foster and William Thayer Badger. Brother Scott was the husband of Dale Earlene M. Badger. He has two sisters: Jennifer Badger Brooks of West Haven CT and Robin Huckaby of Texas. Brother Scott attended Hamden High School and graduated in 1980. He was recently employed at The Lighting Quotient in West Haven, CT as a machinist and Union Steward. Brother Scott was the father of five daughters: Deja Torres of Miami, Florida, Lachesha Gaskins, Ruthie Infante, Gladys Gaskins and Tanya Hagans and one son: Daniel Gaskins all of Hamden, CT. Brother Scott also leaves as a legacy fifteen grandchildren: Vivian Torres, Anastasia Torres, Dijon Gaskins, Jeremiah Gaskins, Kyanah Gaskins, Jordan Gaskins, Jaquan Gaskins, Jakim Torsu, Jayla Gaskins, Luis infante Jr., Layla Infante, Dontae’ Gaskins, Janayla Gaskins, Danielle Gaskins, Javontae Gaskins. And one great grandchild: Noah Gaskins. Brother Scott also leaves to celebrate his life and mourn his passing a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and many, many friends. Brother Scott was a die-hard New York Giants Football Fan and had a great love for sports and cooking shows.

Brother Scott Badger was a religious man and considered Faith Tabernacle as his home church and Overseer Susan R. Hogan as his Pastor. When he attended Sunday School, Brother Scott always brought an intellectual and enlightening viewpoint to the lesson. Brother Scott leaves a legacy of love for Family and a love for life. His life will be greatly missed by family, friends and all whose lives he so specially touched.

A Celebration of Brother Scott’s life will be held on Friday October 2, 2020 at Colonial, 86 Circular Avenue, Hamden at 11am. Viewing from 10-11am at Colonial. Burial will follow at Hamden Plains Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed at colonialfunerals.com
