Burton Eugene Stowe Sr.

Burton Eugene Stowe Sr., age 98, of Hamden, entered into eternal life on Monday May 29, 2017 in YNHH. Born on April 2, 1919 in Barkhamsted, CT. He was predeceased by his late wife Barbara (Patchell) Stowe. Cherished father of Beverly Bond of Chicago, Judy Parsley of Terryville, Burton (Lisa) Stowe Jr., and Donald (Lori) Stowe both of Hamden. Also survived by his companion Mary Senberg of Hamden, 8 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. Predeceased by 1 brother and 5 sisters. Burton served as a Sgt. for the United States Army during WWII. He was really known for being a great outdoorsmen. Burt worked as a fiberglass weaver for 38 years for the National Filter Media Corp. of Hamden.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday June 3, 2017 in Colonial, 86 Circular Ave. Hamden at 10am. Interment will follow in the Stowe Family plot in Beaverdale Memorial Park with Military Honors.
