Carlos R. Ortiz

Carlos R Ortiz was born 07/24/1963 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, he was the son of Cecilia Mendez and Juan Maria Ortiz.

Carlos is survived by his Mother Cecilia Mendez and his siblings Carmen Ortiz (Quique), Brunilda Ortiz (Roberto)Midred Ortiz(Henry) and Magdalia Ortiz (Prentice).

(His children) Candy Kopylec, Justin Ortiz, Carlos Ortiz, Brianna Batick, Anthony Ortiz, Kayla Ortiz, Jazmine Ortiz, Geraldo Ortiz, Jovani Colon, Tatiana Colon, Robbie Colon, Jordan Ortiz, Michael Vasquez, Eliesel Vazquez, Jadin Ortiz, Aliyah Ortiz, Kaleb Ortiz and Hector Rivera.

(Grandchildren)  Isabella Kopylec, Oralndo Santiago, Gianna Ortiz, Peighton Ortiz, Ariella Ortiz, Cera Echevaria, Eren Echeveria and Aubry Sherman.

(nieces) Yamile, Mayra, Migdalis, Bianca and Sasha.  (nephews) Carlos, Auder, Omar, Auder and Tron.

He is predeceased by his Father Juan  Maria Ortiz and Brother Juan Carlos Ortiz.

Carlos peacefully passed away on Thursday July 15, 2021.

A Celebration of Carlos’s life will be held on Tuesday July 20, 2021 in Colonial Funerals, 86 Circular Avenue, Hamden at 10am. Viewing will be in Colonial from 9am-10am. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed at Colonialfunerals.com.
