Casimere "Kay, Kazia" (Majlowski) Nocerino

On July 18,2024, the devoutly pious Casimere (Kay, Kazia) Nocerino passed peacefully in her sleep surrounded by her family at her North Haven, CT, home. She follows her parents Pawel and Olga Majlowski (Dinec) and her son Arthur Paul Nocerino into the arms of God.

Kay leaves behind her sister, Wanda Majlowski, along with the love of her life and her children’s father James J. Nocerino, and their daughters and son-in-laws Stacy and James Bizzario and Jessica Nocerino Troianello and Chris Troianello, and four grandchildren including Arthur P. Nocerino, Jr., (Sydnee), Nicole Nocerino, Kirsten Cebula and Isabella Bizzario, and two great grandchildren, Olivia Kay Nocerino and Thomas James McNamara.

Kay was born in a post World War II camp and immigrated to the US as a child to be raised in New Jersey. Kay met James at Cambridge University in Massachusetts and they raised their family in Connecticut. Kay was a devout Catholic who accepted and embraced everyone she encountered with grace, love and compassion. In her retirement, Kay developed an inseparable bond with her youngest grandchild, Isabella, who spent all of her available time with Kay.

Kay enjoyed travel and fine dining, was herself an exceptional cook and always opened her door to family and friends. Above all, Kay focused on her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Kay was selfless in her devotion to them and would “Suffer the wilderness” to ensure that they were loved, safe and secure.

Kay will forever be desperately missed.
