Catherine R. Snide

Catherine R. Snide,65, of Waterbury Connecticut died Friday May 15, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Plattsburgh, New York April 27, 1955. Moved to Waterbury Connecticut in 1979 and has been here ever since. She worked at Sherwood Packaging and retired at age 49. Catherine’s greatest pleasure was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also loved playing bingo and going to the casino. She was predeceased by her parents Albert and Gertrude LaValley paternal and maternal grandparents and several aunts and uncles. Catherine is survived by her daughters Ruby LaValley of Lehigh Acres Florida, Dawn LaValley of Waterbury Connecticut and April LaValley also of Waterbury, Connecticut, siblings Lorilee LaBombard and Donald Cayea of Lyon Mountain, New York; Yancy Lavalley of Mooers, New York; Lee and Kathleen LaValley of Ellenburg, New York; and Mark and Toni LaValley of Peru, New York; her 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
