Charles Anthony Teague

Charles Anthony Teague, 80 of New Haven died on Sunday October 2, 2022. He was born in Kansas City, Kansas on August 3,1942 to the late Bishop Walter & Betty (Green) Teague. He attended the New Haven Public School Systems and completed his high school education at James Hillhouse High School in 1962 where he loved playing basketball, he was a true point guard. He was a painter by trade, loved to dance and spend time with the love of his life Mary “Marie” Draughan Hamilton. Charles was very family oriented with a giving heart. Leaving to mourn two Sisters-in-Love Marion and Olivia Teaque along with a host of relatives and friends. Predeceased by eight brothers: Walter Jr, Joseph, Lawrence, Leroy, Kenneth, Richard and Eugene Teaque, Harold Teague Sr.; Six sisters: Dorothy Dedmond, Loretta Teague, Willa Mae Malone, Zenobia Jackson, Catherine Taylor and Marcella Wright.

A celebration of Charles’s life ill be held on Wednesday October 19, 2022 at Colonial Funerals, 86 Circular Avenue, Hamden at 6pm. Viewing in Colonial from 5-6pm. Condolences may be expressed at Colonialfunerals.com.’
