Charlotte Davis Daluz

Charlotte Davis Daluz “Aunt Sister”, age 78, of New haven, passed away peacefully Friday, December 22, 2023 in Milford CT. Charlotte was born in Wake County, N.C. on July 29th 1945 daughter of the late Ella Ree Mitchell and Charles Davis Sr. Charlotte spent many years living in New York City where she worked in the garment industry, hence to her own sense of style in fashion she was always fly… She liked snacking on lays potato chips, vanilla ice cream and drink her Pepsi, she was a good person you can go talk to, who always laughed and made her family feel good.

Charlotte most importantly was kind and gentle she was repentant and God fearing. She really loved her son and family dearly. Survived and loved by her siblings Claretha Davis Franklin, Diane Davis-Leonetti, Betty Davis-Batts, Darnell Davis. Also survived by 20 nieces and nephews and over 30 great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her one and only son Russell Daluz (2019), four brothers; Billy Ray Davis, Ivey-Lee Davis, Leroy Davis, Charles Davis Jr., and two sisters Mary Davis Swain and Terry Davis.

A Celebration of Charlotte’s Life will be held on Saturday, January 6 ^th , 2024, at Colonial Funeral Home, located at 86 Circular Ave Hamden, CT. Viewing is 3pm-4pm and Funeral Service is at 4pm. Burial will be private. Condolences may be expressed at www.colonialfunerals.com.
