Charlotte Iola Gatison Jones

Charlotte Iola (Jones) Gatison, age 96, of New Haven, entered into eternal life on Tuesday October 10, 2017. Born on June 3, 1921 in Chester, SC, daughter of the late Effie and Rosa (Heventon) Jones. The loving wife of the late William Gatison. Cherished mother of Arbilee Jones of NC, Effie (James Burgess) Royal of New Haven, and Annett Doubse of New Haven. Also survived by 8 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, 34 great great grandchildren, and 3 great great great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Charlotte’s life will be held on Wednesday October 18, 2017 in Colonial, 86 Circular Ave Hamden at 11 o’clock. Viewing in Colonial from 10-11am. Interment at Hamden Plains Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed at colonialfunerals.com
