Chikara A Williams

Chikara A.Williams passed away unexpectedly on January 11, 2024, at the age of 36 at Saint Mary’s hospital in Waterbury, CT. Chikara was born on February 25, 1987, in Waterbury, CT.

Chikara attended Crosby High School and she finished her career path at Job Corps. She was employed at Dunkin Donuts for many years. She later worked as a valet parking attendant for Saint Mary’s hospital and later as a caregiver. Chikara loved spending time with her family and friends. She showed unconditional love to everyone she encountered. Her favorite leisure activities were listening to music, cooking, dancing and car rides.

Left to cherish her memory is her mother Vanessa Diggs of Connecticut, father Norman Dave Williams Jr. of New Mexico, step-father Todd Lewis of Missouri, her sister Tovanna Lewis of Connecticut and her only niece Malani. Her maternal grandmother Carol (Wyrick) Diggs of Connecticut, aunts Tamara Blanchard (Karl) of Connecticut, Arreia Richardson of North Carolina, Lisa Ward of Connecticut,uncles Robert Diggs (Nina) of Connecticut and Scottie Ward (Donna) of Connecticut. She leaves behind several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was predeceased by paternal grandfather Norman Dave Williams Sr.(Mary), paternal grandmother Truscilla Sapone (Frank).

A celebration of Chikara’s life will be held on Saturday  January 20, 2024 at 12pm at Colonial Funerals. Viewing at Colonial from 10am-12pm.
