Christopher Edward Jenkins Sr.

Christopher Edward Jenkins Sr., age 29, of New Haven, tragically entered into eternal life on Saturday February 11, 2017. Born on November 28, 1987 in New Haven, the son of Christopher Penn Jr. of New Haven and the late Yvonne Jenkins. Cherished father of Christopher and Justin Jenkins both of New Haven. Loving brother of Shatarra Williams, Nikinyia Cooke, Christian Jenkins, Stefan Jenkins all of New Haven, and Shawn Jenkins of New London. Also survived by Godfather Bishop J. Kelly Edge II of New Haven. Predeceased by maternal grandparents Frances and Jose Jenkins, and paternal grandparents Shirley (Penn) Bustin and Christopher Penn Sr.

A Celebration of Christopher’s life will be held on Friday February 24, 2017 in Ebenezer Chapel, 50 Dwight St. New Haven at 11 O’clock. Interment will be in the Jenkins family plot in Hamden Plains Cemetery. Viewing in Church from 10-11am. Condolences may be expressed at colonialfunerals.com.
