Claude Lee Wilson

Claude Lee Wilson Jr. went to be with the lord on Saturday November 9th,2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Claude was born in Stamford, CT on January 31 st , 1953, to Mary and Claude Lee Wilson Sr.

Claude attended A.M.E. Bible institute where he was installed as an Itinerary Elder in the AME church and was later ordained as a Co-Pastor at Tehillah World Outreach Center. In 2012 he was installed as a Pastor at Frist Assembly of God/House of Prayer under the tutelage of Paster James and Verna Lilley. He loved to sing and was a part of the worship team for many years.

Claude was an avid student of the word, had a passion for healings and a passion for the supernatural power of God. He was a strong man of faith who loved praying, spending time with family, and playing the piano. You could always find him laughing and serving with a smile on his face. He was a devoted husband, father, and friend who was always thinking of others first.

He is survived by his wife Carol Wilson, and his children Derrick (Tricia) Wilson, Corey (Anapaula) Wilson, Deena (Billy) Penn, Ashlee Wilson, Tiara Wilson, Samara McKeithen, Phillip Wilson, Allyssa Wilson, Samuel Edwards and Shakwina Wilson. He leaves to cherish in his memory, brother’s Duane and Gary Wilson, 11 Grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, a god daughter and host of nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family and friends.

A celebration of Claude’s life will be held on Friday November 15th, 2024 at 11am at House of Prayer Church,  1245 Thomaston Avenue, Waterbury CT. Viewing in Church from 10-11am with a service to follow. Burial to follow at New Pine Grove Cemetery.  Colonial Funerals 270 West Main Street, Waterbury, CT is handling the arrangements.
