Cynthia Bynum

Cynthia Bynum passed away on February 24, 2022. She was born on March 1, 1943 in Atlantic City, NJ to the late Richard Johnson and Jael ( Bacote) Sligh. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughters, Yolanda R. Bynum Barnes (Dan) (MD)  and Monique S. Bynum Ford (Tyquan) and son Cedric A. Bynum ( Yvette). Sister Gwen Sligh (SC), brother Joel Sligh (FL). She was predeceased by husband, Eddie Bynum and son, Eric Bynum, sister Elaine Lewis (FL), and stepfather Wilson Sligh (SC).

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, March 7, 2022 at 11am at Thomas Chapel Church of Christ, 30 White Street, New Haven. Viewing in Church is 10am – 11am. Interment to follow at Beaverdale Memorial Park. Condolences may be expressed at Colonialfunerals.com. Cards may be sent to the Family of Cynthia Bynum at 278 James Street, New Haven, CT 06513.
