Dai’Quan Tahge Hyman, also known as “Quan,” was born on May 13, 1999, in New Haven, Connecticut, to Andrea Marie Williams and the late Willard David Hyman, Jr. On August 25, 2025, at the young age of 26, Dai’Quan departed this life, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever live in the hearts of his loved ones.
Dai’Quan was educated in the New Haven school system and attended Hillhouse High School. He worked in construction as a flagger. Beyond his work Dai’Quan had many passions. He loved making music, playing basketball, and spending time with his friends and family. Of all his roles, the one he treasured most was being a devoted father to his beloved son, Malachi Hyman.
He leaves to cherish his memory mother, Andrea Marie Williams, fiancée Elisa Ward, son Malachi Hyman, sisters, Shirley London and LaRhonda (Jajuan) Newton, brothers Machale Williams and Willard David Hyman III; seven nieces and four nephews, aunts Shonda Hyman, Keisha wilkens, Bridget Ates, uncles, Johnny Hyman, Clarence ates, grandparents Beverly Robinson and Madgarine Williams, Godparents Toccara McCoter and Glenn Snowden. He will also be deeply missed by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willard David Hyman Jr, brother Damion Gay grandfather Willard David Hyman aunt Maryann Mobley, uncle Ronnie Spears grandparents, Mary Spears and Alfred Williams.
A celebration of Dai’Quan’s life will be held on Friday September 5, 2025 at 11am at Wayfair Ministries Marne Street, Hamden, CT. Viewing in Church from 10-11am. Burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, New Haven, CT. Condolences may be expressed at Colonialfunerals.com.
