Danita Thompson Woods went home to be with the Lord on November 21, 2021. Born November 19, 1969, in Washington, DC to her parents Doshea Lennon Thompson and the Late Jerry Thompson.
Danita was the sweetest person you could ever meet. Anyone who met her knew she cared about you and would do anything for you if she could. One of her proudest moments is when she became a mother to her four precious children. Each one of them held a special place and bond in her heart. Affectionately known as Mom, Nita, and Nene. In 2004, Under the Leadership of Pastor Moses Mukwiza she met the Lord Jesus Christ, and her life was forever changed. As she continued her journey, she became a member of Christ Has Risen International Ministries under the Leadership of Apostle Loria M. Morrison. She was faithful to God and the ministry. Nita was smart and an avid lover of animals. Throughout her life she lovingly cared for dogs, cats, hamsters, and had a particular fondness for rabbits.
Danita leaves to cherish her memory four (4) children: Jerri, Chardea, Miles and Tyler Woods. One (1) granddaughter Isabella “Izzy” Woods who she spent most of her last days doting over. Her mother Doshea Lennon Thompson, her brother Robert Thompson. Sisters: Lisa Thompson & Jaqueline Bethea, a special cousin Loria Morrison and God daughter Zayla Morrison.
