She attended New Haven Public Schools and was employed by Yale New Haven Health for over 20 years. Shauna was the proud mother of Aquayja Brielle Groom. She married the love of her life Carl MacCalla Sr and received a bonus son CJ MacCalla. Shauna was predeceased by her paternal grandparents T.O and Florence Groom.
