David Earl Langley was born June 26,1954 in Georgetown South, Carolina to loving parents Jannie and Roy Langley.
In his early years, David parents moved to Connecticut, where he would attend middle and high school in New Haven. David was affectionately known to his family and friends as Earl. During high school David was into martial arts. He studied under Sinsa George Burmsey Martial Arts Academy. David also loved to play his guitars and had a big interest in cars, looking up to Jimi Hendrix and aspiring to one day drive a Cadillac DeVille. David worked for Tony’s Gas Company as an attendant and he also worked at Hamden Co. as a warehouse worker.
David leaves to cherish his memories with his son Lisson, his siblings Joyce Langley, Priscilla Langley, Clinton Langley and Michele Langley (Anthony Mclean) all of New Haven, CT and Stephanie Grayson (Nate Grayson) of Hamden, CT. He leaves a host of nieces and nephews, aunts , uncles and cousins.
David is proceed by his mother Jannie and father Roy Langley, brother Leroy Langley and two nieces Taylor Langley and Chastity Blount , three maternal aunts and two uncles, two parental uncles and three aunts.
As we gather to lay our dearly departed loved one to rest, I ask for you to remember Earl as the mild manner soft spoken man he was and hold on to the funny times for he will be in bedded in his love ones heart forever.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at 11am at Colonial Funerals, 86 Circular Avenue, Hamden, CT. Visitation from 10-11am. Burial to follow at Hamden Plains Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed at colonialfunerals.com.
