In Loving Memory of David Frederick Miller

David Frederick Miller, formerly of 120 Oak Street, Meriden, Connecticut, passed away following an illness. He was born on December 30, 1961, at Grace New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut.

David was employed at Cast Iron Chef in New Haven, Connecticut. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him.

David was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred A. Bruce of Ozark, Alabama; his grandmother, Annie L. Sonia of Dothan, Alabama; his aunts, Mary Yvonne Aidoo of Ozark, Alabama, and Daisy Ballu of Ozark, Alabama; and his uncle, Leon Sonia of Ozark, Alabama.

He leaves to cherish his memory his five children: Jason Miller; David Miller Jr.; Davina Miller-Burke; Lynesha Miller; and Dynesha Shields.

He also leaves to mourn his passing his sisters Cathy miller of New Haven, Sharon Miller of Hamden Ct ,uncle, Jerome Sonia, and his aunt, Carol Annie Sonia of New Haven, Connecticut, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

David will be lovingly remembered for the life he shared with his family and friends. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

May he rest in eternal peace.

A memorial services will be  held on Saturday September 19, 2026 at Faith Missionary Baptist Church 41 Emma Street, West Haven, CT at 1pm.  Condolences may be expressed at Colonialfunerals.com.
