Davonte’ Warren, 28 of New Haven, CT passed away suddenly on Saturday 7/17/21 in North Haven, CT.

Davonte was born October 26, 1992, in New Haven, CT to Larry Thomas and Monica Craddock. He attended Hamden Public School and received his GED in 2012. Davonte had an affectious smile and he loved to eat! Davonte’ lived a simple life and loved being around his family and small circle of friends. Gambling was his hobby such as fantasy football and frequently going to the casino. He also enjoyed playing spades with his father and friends in his neighborhood. Davonte’s proudest moment in his life was the birth of his only son Takiye Warren. He loved spending time with his son, whether it was going to the movies, playing videos games or doing what they love best, eating. Takiye was his whole world, his everything!

Davonte’ leaves to cherish his memories, his father, Larry Thomas Jr. of West Haven, CT. His mother, Monica Craddock and stepfather Anthony Craddock. Sisters Ijan Whitaker, Ashley Warner, Makenzie Mayfield, Tanajah Taylor, Tayanna Jeannette, and Maya Bond all from New Haven, CT. Brothers, Larry Thomas III., Malcolm Mayfield, Dennis Eichler, and Mason Bond all from New Haven, CT. Grandfather, Willie Ray Moore, Great grand Parents, John and Mabel Warren and Godmother, Barbara Ann Vereen of New Haven, CT. His special friend, Jordyn Richardson and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Stephen Jones and paternal grandfather Larry Thomas Sr., maternal grandmother Shirley Moore and paternal grandmother Adeline Pouncey.

A celebration of life will take place Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at 11:00 am at Colonial Funerals, 86 Circular Ave in Hamden, CT. Viewing will be held from 9:00am-11:00am. Interment will take place at Beaverdale Cemetery, Hamden, CT. Repass at West River Hall, 37 Orlando St. West Haven, CT. Services by Colonial Funeral Home, Hamden, CT.

The family wishes to thank everyone for the prayers, gifts and presence that has been shown during this difficult time. For without all of you, we would have not made it through the more difficult days. May our beloved rest in peace with the Lord God.
