Delores Pearson Riggins

Delores Pearson Riggins, age 80, of Easley, SC and formally of Newhaven, CT., passed away January 21, 2024 peacefully at home with her loving family by her side. Delores was born in Greene County, NC, daughter of the late Fletcher Pearson and Mary Johnson Holloway Dixon. She was a former employee of Sargent’s in New Haven, Connecticut.

She was predeceased by her loving husband Edward Riggins and daughter Denise Pearson of New Haven, Connecticut. She leaves behind to mourn her loss and celebrate her life, a host of family and many friends.

A Celebration of Delores’ Life will be held on Monday, January 29, 2024 in Colonial Funerals, 86 Circular Avenue, Hamden at 11am. Viewing will be in Colonial from 10-11am. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed at www.colonialfunerals.com.
