Diane Spears

Diane Spears, age 58 of Hamden CT, entered into eternal life on Tuesday July 30, 2019 at her home. She was born on August 28th 1960 in New Haven, CT. Daughter of the late Overseer Luedean Spears and Wilson Spears Sr. Cherished mother of Kaliuha (Alfonza) Burgess of Hamden, CT., Rebecca Spears of Dallas, Texas, Patrice Spears of Hamden, CT and Luedean (Jerry) Pierre-Louis of New Haven, CT. She was also the grandmother of her pride and joy grandchildren Mellin Watt and Dakota Spears.

She is survived by one sister Debra Law, brother Patrick (Sharon) Spears both of North Carolina, long time companion Peter Dennis and a host of nieces and nephews that loved their “Aunt Toni”. She was predeceased by two sisters Cynthia Smith, Carla Spears and one brother Wilson Spears Jr.

A memorial service will be held on Friday August 9th 2019 at Upon Rock Ministries 884 Grand Ave, New Haven, CT at 9:30 a.m. Condolences may be expressed at colonialfunerals.com
