It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dwayne George Fyne, who departed this life on February 6, 2025 at the age of 48 years old. Born on May 24, 1976, Dwayne was a beloved father, brother, nephew, uncle and friend whose kindness and warmth touched the lives of many.
Dwayne split his time between New Haven, Connecticut, and West Palm Beach, Florida, where he built strong connections and cherished memories with family and friends. He will be remembered for his generous spirit, unwavering love for his family, and the joy he brought to those around him.
Dwayne was preceded in death by his mother Laverne Fyne-Henry his grandmother Carmen Johnson and his Grandfather Rupell Johnson. He is survived by his children, Atasia Fyne and Dwayne George Fyne Jr., followed by step children, Alexander Coleman, Abimelek Campbell and Jerod Johnson, Grandchildren, Siblings, (Lamont and Erica) aunts, (Opal and Junie) uncle, stepfather, (Everett Henry), Partner, (Ivoriea Barnes) and lastly, A lifetime best friend (Micheal Barber) who will remember him. Though he is no longer physically with us, his legacy of love, laughter, and strength will continue to live on in the lives of those he touched. Dwayne loved on his family and friends especially his children. He loved his music, cars and riding freely on his motorcycles while riding around proudly with his bike club(The Presidents) as he explored the world enjoying life to the fullest.
A service to honor and celebrate Dwayne’s life will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Colonial Funeral Home, 86 Circular Ave., Hamden, Connecticut. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and pay their respects, with visitation from 10am-11am. Funeral Services starting at 11am. Dwayne’s departure leaves a void that can never be filled, but his love and light will remain with us always. May he rest in eternal peace.
