Eddie B. Howard

Eddie B. Howard of Hamden, CT, passed away on Friday, August 18, 2023.  Eddie was born on August 30 ^th , 1936, to the late Lucener (Wright) and John B. Howard in Prattville, Alabama, and he resided in Hamden, CT for many years.  Eddie was employed by Howard Sausage Company before retiring in 1995.

He is survived by daughters Michele Howard, Diane Howard Lewis (Vincent), Candance Williams (Gary), Beverly Gardner, and Medria Givens, and a son Abdullah Shakur (James Howard), ten grandchildren and eight great- grandchildren. He was the brother to Annie Huckaby (Richard), Claytonia Jenkins (Charles), and Astoria Howard Ridley.  He was predeceased by wife, Rosalee G. Howard and sisters Juanita Johnson, Linda Guest, and Patsy McIver.  Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

The funeral services will be held Thursday, August 24 ^th , 2023, at 11 AM at Colonial Funeral Home, 86 Circular Avenue, Hamden, CT 06514.
