Elder Lionel W. Mcfadden Sr.

Elder Lionel W. McFadden was born on September 14, 1988 in New Haven, Connecticut to William Wilkes Sr. and Sara McFadden . He received a graceful called to enter eternal rest on October 4, 2022. Lionel was 34 years old and resided in New Haven Connecticut. Lionel early in life was a faithful member of Joy Temple Church under the leadership of Bishop Dozier Shields. He was was recently a member of Thomas Chapel Church under the leadership of Pastor Velman Lyons. He worked at Colonial Funeral Home as a Funeral Director in the town of Hamden Connecticut. Lionel attended school in the New Haven Public School System, graduated at Alberts Magnus University where he received his Associates Degree in Business Management. His personality was very vibrant he was very influential person who loved to laugh, and help everyone. Two of his famous sayings was Hell is low don’t you go. and “Ya won’t get me” Lionel was an Eider in the Lord’s Church, Media Recording Artist music and musician, He also considered himself to be a singer. Lionel was the CEO of Glory Experience Media Company. He leaves the cherish his memory his loving wife Diamond McFadden his two sons Zaire and Lionel Junior, two daughters Kaelyn and Rylee Ly’jae McFadden. His mother Sara McFadden, Father; William Wilkes Sr., (Barbara) Three brothers Devante Jefferson, Byron Wilkes both of New Haven, CT, and William Wilkes Jr. of Baltimore MD. Four Sisters Tyisha McFadden New Haven, CT; Shante McFadden of West Haven, CT, Stacey Wilkes of Meriden, CT, and ,Shanta Hardy of Hamden CT Two mother-in-law’s Peggy Davis and Pastor Conswella Paige. Three sister-in-law’s; One grandmother Lois McFadden a host of aunts uncles, nieces cousins and friends A special cousin/brother Dennis McFadden, Special Aunt Amy McFadden, Special Uncle Paul Evans.

A celebration of Lionel’s life will be held on October 13, 2022 at Trinity Temple Church, 285 Dixwell Avenue, New Haven at 11am. Viewing in Church from 9-11am. Interment to follow at Beaverdale Memorial Park. Condolences may be expressed at Colonialfunerals.com.
