Everetta Annette Bell

Everetta Annette Bell, 64, of New Haven, Ct, departed this life and entered eternal rest on April 16, 2023. She was born on November 4,1958 to the late Estelle Bell and George Bell in New Haven, Ct. Everetta was loving, kind, and had a heart of gold. Everetta’s favorite pastimes included styling hair, cooking, listening to music and sewing. Her extreme talent for sewing produced some of finest pieces of clothing. Everetta was educated in the New Haven Public School System. Everetta leaves to cherish her memory children: Ty’Shaun Bell and Alexis Bell of New Haven, Ct. and Curtis Bell of North Carolina; sisters: Georgia (Steven) Jackson of Florida, Valerie Shaw of Middletown, Ct, Verna Meyers of New Haven, Ct; brothers: Cerrone Bell of Alabama, James McCoy, George Nelson, and Dwayne Nelson of South Carolina, George Lilly and Vincent (Dennenah) Lilly of Georgia, Tim Williams of Meriden, Ct, George Lawhorn and Michael Lawhorn of New Haven, Ct, and 9 grandchildren: Talayshja Pouncey, Travis Lewis, Jayden Byrd, Lovely Murphy, Joseph Edwards, Aaliyah Bell, Jy-rese Mabry, Anaiyahh Bell, Jvien Martin, and Ayden Bell Bryson. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. Everetta was predeceased by her daughter Dalish’ya Bell, grandchildren Dallas and Deshanin Coleman, siblings Tyana Bell and Timothy Lawhorn, maternal grandparents Robert and Suzanne Presley and paternal grandparents Joe and Inez Bell. Everetta was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

A celebration of Everetta’s life will be held on Friday April 28, 2023 at 11am Ebenezer Baptist Church 50 Dwight Street, New Haven CT. Visitation will be from 10-11am. Condolences may be expressed at Colonialfunerals.com.
