Fedal Shykeem Saunders, born on March 2, tragically passed away on September 19, 2025 in Montgomery, Alabama where he was living for the past 3 years .
Fedal was born on March 2, 1995 in Waterbury, CT. A son to mother Darlene Saunders and father DeMarise Williams.
Fedal was educated at Anna E. Norris elementary school in East Hartford, CT. He attended Bloomfield High School where he received his High School Diploma. He also attended college in Rhode Island at Johnson & Wales for culinary arts. During his childhood Fedal meet a created so many bonds with people. He enjoyed playing and riding bikes through his neighborhood with his siblings and friends. He enjoyed playing Yu-Gi-Oh! and Beyblades with his siblings Elijah and Janiqwa in the backyard of their childhood home He enjoyed making those around him laugh by telling jokes and bringing up “insiders” . Fedal enjoyed drawing he was so creative. He would spend his free time and perfect his craft. He would always arraign time for those he loved. Music would always be a topic he would touch on. From telling his mother “hey ma, you have to listen to this song to freestyling with his friends where they bonded through their passion and talent.
Fedal was also employed at various jobs where he always strived to learn new skills and be great leader to those around him. When he could catch a game of basketball on the court he would always bring along his brother Elijah, his cousin and friends who turn into brothers as well. Spending time with his nieces and nephews was always a joy for him.
Fedal was a culinary enthusiast. He would love to be present in his two children life as much possible. Even through their distance Fedal remain an active role model in his children life by communicating with them through FaceTime calls, playing games online together, and suprises through the mail or visit in town. His children were the center to his world. He would move mountains for them two .His smile could brighten up any room and warm the coldest hearts. He had a style that caught your eye — simple yet full of the most loved spirit.
He is survived by his two children, daughter Mei’Lan Anais Saunders and son Kartiér Sir Saunders; his parents, Darlene Saunders and DeMarise Williams; maternal siblings Sam Saunders,Fantasia Diaz, Elijah Saunders, Janiqwa Renee, Mahaghony Saunders, Philip Lewis, and Quadir Wilson Jr. parental grandfather Maurice Williams from Richmond, VA grandmother Janice Townsend from Stratford, CT sister Jailene Williams aunt Shirlene Williams and a nephew onesBrandon Williams as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and extended family members.
A celebration of Fedal’s life will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 11am at Colonial Funerals, 270 West Main Street, Waterbury, CT. Viewing in Colonial from 10–11am. Condolences may be expressed at Colonialfunerals.com.
