Frances Marie Hovi Magowan

On December 25, 2018, Frances Marie Hovi Magowan after a brief illness and on her favorite holiday has passed away at the age of 86. In her final weeks she was cared for by the Health Care Staff, “‘The Hospice Angels” at Middlesex Hospital. We extend many more hugs and thanks for their grace. Frances was predeceased by James her loving husband of 65 years. She leaves her sister Ruth, her daughters Susan Piscatelli and Robin Magowan and son in laws Orlando and Brian: She also leaves her granddaughters, Alexandra, Devin and Victoria. Frances was a homemaker with many interests and hobbies. She loved the outdoors and was an avid gardener as well as a great fisherwomen and seasoned camper. She loved watching sports, especially the W omen’s UConn Huskies Basketball Team. She called them “My Girls”.

Frances was a very kind and loving Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. She will be forever in our hearts and in every red Cardinal we see.
