Frank DeBerry Sr.

Frank DeBerry was born on April 5, 1937, in Troy, North Carolina, to Howard DeBerry and Maude DeBerry.

At a young age, Frank moved to New Haven, Connecticut, where he was raised and built a life rooted in hard work, family, and dedication. As a young man, he enjoyed running track and playing golf. His talent and determination on the track led him to become one of the top runners in the state, placing in the top three in the 100-yard dash in 1955 while attending Hillhouse High School.

Frank was a devoted and hardworking man who spent over 40 years employed at Advanced Products. He took great pride in providing for his family and ensuring they had a stable and loving home.

He met the love of his life, Lucille, in 1960, and they were united in marriage in 1965.

Together, they built a strong family foundation filled with 'Love and support. Frank was the proud father of three children, Michele Green, Frank DeBerry Jr., and Richard DeBerry, and a loving stepfather to Deborah Green, Barbara Green, and Doreen Green. He also leaves behind six cherished grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, all of whom he loved deeply.

He is survived by his sister, Marie (Syril) Keishall. Frank was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lucille DeBerry, as well as his brother, Samuel DeBerry, and his sister, Delcie DeBerry.

Frank will be remembered as a strong provider, a dedicated family man, and someone who helped raise not only his own children but also his grandchildren with love, guidance, and care. His legacy will live on in the many lives he touched.

He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
