Frank Herbert Gentles Jr. It is with great sadness that the family of Frank Herbert Gentles Jr. announces his passing on November 15, 2024, in New Haven, Connecticut, USA, at the age of 62, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Frank, lovingly referred to as Junior, was born on November 15, 1962, in Kingston, Jamaica, to Winifred and Frank Herbert Gentles Sr. He attended Papine High School and later worked at Welcome Supermarket and Rainforest Seafood. Frank also traveled overseas on the farm work program and was skilled in construction. He was renowned for his pan jerk chicken and had a passion for watching a variety of sports.

Frank will be deeply missed by his children, Sherese, Samantha, Pierre, Brittany, Cadejah, and Brianna; his siblings, Annie, Michael, Cherry, Dennis, Harold, and Jeffery; his four grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents, Winifred and Frank Sr., and his siblings, Gloria and Clifford. Frank’s memory will forever remain in our hearts.

A Celebration of Frank’s Life will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at Colonial Funerals, 86 Circular Avenue, Hamden at 1pm. Viewing in Colonial from 12pm-1pm. Condolences may be expressed at www.colonialfunerals.com.
