Gabrielle "Gabby" Gill

Gabrielle Gill, affectionately known as Gabby Blay Blay, was born on March 27, 1990, and entered eternal rest on December 23, 2025. Gabby was kind, loving, and filled with faith. She was warm-hearted, gentle in spirit, and had a beautiful way of making others feel seen, valued, and deeply cared for.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory her mother, Patricia Tate-Spell (Ray); her father, Wesley Gill (Cherie); her siblings, Kenya Tate, L. Tiffiny Tate, Shavont’e Tate, Chazmen Tate, Wesley Gill Jr., and Destynee Gill; her beloved nephew and niece, whom she loved as her own children, Tyreek Tate and Destinee Tate-Hamer; and her cherished best friend, Ruhona Barno. She is also lovingly remembered by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Gabrielle was preceded in death by her sibling, Samuel Tate.

A Celebration of Life will be held on January 2, 2026, at The First Church of God, 90 Harper Avenue, New Haven, CT. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m.–11:00 a.m., Funeral Service will start at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Beaverdale Memorial Park. Condolences may be expressed at www.colonialfunerals.com.
