George Harry Turrell

George Harry Turrell, age 87, born December 29, 1932 passed into eternal life on December 26, 2020. He was the son of the late Raymond Turrell and Anna Lynch Turrell.

George was an avid Nascar fan and loved walking for miles every day! He also loved fishing and in his earlier days, raced stock cars at Plainville Motor Speedway…

A kind caring gentle soul, George grew up in Woodbury Ct and is survived by his sisters Dorothy A Forino and Mae Belle Ramos and Shirley Turrell. He is pre-deceased by his brothers Raymond and  Franklin and his sister Elizabeth (Betty) Jervis. George was a “special” uncle to 17 nieces and nephews and 33 great nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at the New North Cemetery in Woodbury, Ct on Thursday December 31, 2020 at 11:00 am. Condolences may be expressed at Colonialfunerals.com.
