Gerome Jenkins

Gerome Jenkins, age 56 of New Haven, passed away to a battle from cancer. He was born on May 6, 1966 in New Haven, the beloved son of Peggy Jenkins and the late Samuel McElveen, Sr. He worked at Perco Landscaping, Town Fare Tire, Chili’s, and Wendy’s. Gerome was a member of the Flaming Knights Motorcycle Club. He was known best for being witty, funny, and loved to laugh. Survivors include his mother Peggy Jenkins, 1 son, 9 sisters, 10 brothers and many more loved ones.

Services will be held January 26, 2023 at 11am directly in Saint Matthews Church, 400 Dixwell Ave, New Haven CT 06511. Viewing in Church from 9:30-10;30am. Interment will immediately follow at Hamden Plains Cemetery, Hamden. Arrangements have been entrusted to Colonial Funerals 86 Circular Avenue, Hamden, CT.
