Grace Virginia Emmaleen Taylor-Crews

Grace Virginia Emmaleen Taylor-Crews, passed away peacefully at home on October 30, 2020, joining her late husband Charles Crews Sr.  She was born April 26, 1939 in Hagerstown, Maryland, daughter of late Mollie Goiens-Taylor and Roscoe Taylor.  Grace was preceded in death by her siblings: George Burke(Ethel), Henry Taylor(Carole) of Phoenix, AZ , Maurice, Taylor, Richard (Phyllis) Taylor and Delores Taylor. Grace moved to New Haven CT with her family in the late 50s for better opportunities.

Grace was survived by her 6 children: Archie Taylor (Beverlia) of Harrisburg, PA, April Taylor, Madeline ( Clarence ) Mitchell, Penny Greenland, Denine Taylor and Charles Crews Jr. all of New Haven, CT. Fifteen grandchildren, Fifteen great grandchildren and four great -great -grandchildren. Grace also leaves to cherish a host of loving family members and friends.

A Celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 6, 2020. Viewing will begin 10am- 11am. With the Memorial Service starting at 11am at Colonial, 86 Circular Ave Hamden, CT . The Covid-19 mandates will be in place and masks will be required. Condolences may be expressed at Colonialfunerals.com.
